a how to make a make Jar Snow globe

step by step

1-All you need to make your  Jar Snow globe 

– Jar (empty and with the label peeled off – we soaked ours in hot water)

– Glycerin (you can get this from a pharmacy. If you can’t get glycerin, baby oil will do)

– Glitter 

– Christmas ornament (we chose a reindeer)

– Hot glue

– Distilled water (or you can boil tap water. This stops air bubbles forming and helps to make your snow globe last longer)

2-Glue the Christmas ornament to your  Jar lid and leave it to dry. 

Expert Tip: Scratch the  lid to make the glue stick better

Check the glue is dry on your ornament

Pour the distilled water into the jar

Add some glycerin (about a teaspoon should be enough

Add the glitter and stir.

3-Add some glue round the rim of the jar Carefully screw the lid on tight Glue round the edge of the lid and jar to seal it and stop any leaks. 

Expert Tip: Add a ribbon around the edge to hide the glue Shake the jar and watch the snowstorm.
